Cecile Brinson

Cecile Elizabeth Brinson known to her friends and family as Beth passed from this life on December 20, 2024, at the age of 79 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Beth was born on April 21, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama, the daughter of John Marshall William Farr and Ethel Mae (Cooper) Farr. Beth grew up and attended school in Dewey, Oklahoma and graduated with the Class of 1963. Following high school Beth was united in marriage to Charles Brinson in Clayton, New Mexico on October 26, 1963. The couple established their home in Abernathy, Texas for a couple of years before moving to Ontario, Oregon in 1966. They remained there until 1968 when the couple moved to Lufkin, Texas. The couple with their two children, Mike and Jill, returned to Oklahoma, moving to the Cleveland area in 1976, where she has continued to reside. For many years Beth helped Chuck as his secretary. She also worked as a substitute teacher for many years. Following the death of Chuck Beth worked as a Pawnee County Court Clerk. However, the job she enjoyed most was working for Elara Care Home Health helping her patients with their daily needs. 

Beth always enjoyed reading books, especially mysteries. Going to baseball games for her grandkids was always the highlight of the day. 

Survivors are her daughter Jill Bryant of Cleveland, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tyler Bryant of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Jared Bryant of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Dylan Bryant of Cleveland, Oklahoma; sister Sarah Goff of Fort Worth, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Brinson, son Mike Brinson, sister Judy Cooper and a brother Johnny Farr. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
