Buster was born on July 23, 1933 in Prue, Oklahoma. Buster was the son of Walter W. and Flaura C. (Ramsey) Beck. As a young man Buster began his education in Prue and later moved with his family to Hominy where he attended the Mound Valley School. In 1951, Buster moved to Sand Springs where he gained employment at the local rock quarry which later became Standard. On November 3, 1952, Buster was united in marriage to Georgia A. In 1977, Buster and Georgia moved to their current home on Lake Keystone where they have continued to reside. Buster remained working in the rock crusher industry and later retired from Cummings Construction in 1989. Buster enjoyed the time out in his shop tinkering on things and wood working. He also had an extensive collection of Tonka and heavy equipment toys. There was nothing that Buster couldnÃt do or fix if he put his mind to it. He also felt that if you wanted to make money you should work at a rock crusher. Georgia describes Buster as ìthe best man you could ask forî as well as a hard worker that took good care of his family.
