Buddy Buff

Buddy Wayne Buff, 50, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at his home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Buddy was born August 5, 1968, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Olin and Daisy (McMahon) Buff. As a young child, Buddy grew up and attended school in Cleveland starting with Mrs. Helen’s Class and later graduating with the class of 1986 from Cleveland High School. Following graduation, Buddy worked at Safeway for several years before gaining employment with IBT Industrial Sales. Buddy worked for Cash Savers for the past six years and was currently employed at Walker’s Feed Store.

Buddy was charming and charismatic. He loved to make everyone laugh with his unique sense of humor. He had a big heart and went out of his way to help anyone in need. He was a hard worker and enjoyed playing pranks on his coworkers. Buddy loved fishing, football, animals and all things outdoors. He was very patriotic and enjoyed watching documentaries about history and World War II. More than anything, Buddy loved his family and especially his children. The 4th of July was his favorite holiday to spend with his youngest children Lyndee and Landon. His kids enjoyed watching Spongebob and napping with their dad. Buddy went out of his way to bring a smile to anyone he encountered. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Buddy will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the community.

Survivors are his five children Buddy Buff II, Kayla Zeigler, Summer Buff, Lyndee Buff, Landon Buff; four sisters Carolyn Wooten of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Gayle Taylor of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Linda Finley of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Rhae Smith of Cleveland, Oklahoma, girlfriend Susan Payne of Cleveland, Oklahoma, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dan Edens officiating. Private burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
