Brandon Carl Ricketts

Brandon Carl Ricketts passed from this life on Friday, April 6, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 19 years. Brandon was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 30, 1992. He was the son of Thomas and Peggy (Brattain) Ricketts. As a young boy Brandon started his school in Tulsa at Robertson Elementary. Brandon also attended Clinton, Webster and completed his high school education at Project 12 Alternative School graduating with the Class of 2011. Following high school Brandon worked for Dollar General Store as well as the Carbondale Veterinary Clinic where he was a Veterinary Technician. Brandon was one that really loved his job. He was very compassionate and had a love for animals far beyond what most people have. Brandon loved to read, especially books that were set during the medieval times and loved the Harry Potter series. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. Brandon would devote many hours just playing outside, swinging, jumping on the trampoline or just sitting on the floor with Jack dancing and playing. One thing most of all in life that Brandon loved to do was please people and his love for animals grew into a job that he loved. Survivors are his parents, Thomas E. and Peggy L. Ricketts of Tulsa, Oklahoma, four siblings Brandi Nicole McCormack of Owasso, Oklahoma, Katrina Ann Bridgeman and her husband Jerry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Thomas Adam Ricketts and his wife Joanna of Owasso, Oklahoma, John Curtis Ricketts and his wife Angie of Edmond, Oklahoma; maternal grandfather Rodney Ricketts; paternal grandparents, Donald and Earlene Ricketts of Cleveland, Oklahoma, nephews Bryant, Zachary, Jackson Ricketts all of Owasso, Oklahoma, Christopher Jacks of Arkansas, nieces Addyson, Haley Ricketts all of Edmond, Oklahoma, Chloe Ricketts of Tulsa, Oklahoma, best friend Maddison his Newfoundland hound as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Catherine L. Ricketts, one brother Howard Ricketts, nephew Bryce Ricketts and his maternal grandparents Roy and Virginia Brattain.
