Bonny Ellen Hogan

Obituary Bonny Ellen Reese Hogan passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa after a eight year battle with cancer.'  Bonny was born on March 27, 1969 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.'  She moved at an early age to Hominy, Oklahoma where she was raised and attended high school through her sophomore year.'  While attending Hominy High School, Bonny was a varsity flute player on the State Champion and 1A National Champion, Hominy Buck Marching Band. She transferred to Hilldale High School in Muskogee during her junior year and graduated from Hilldale High School in 1987.'  Shortly after graduation, Bonny moved to Georgia where she resided for a few years before retuning to Hominy, Oklahoma. She then accepted a position with NCS Healthcare in the billing and accounting department.'  In 2000, Bonny was transferred to the offices of NCS Healthcare in Little Rock, Arkansas where she continued to work until her medical retirement in 2005.'  Bonny was married to Scott Hogan on September 16, 2000 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.'  The couple made their initial home in Little Rock and then moved to their current home in Alexander, Arkansas.'  Bonny was described by her family as a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.'  She cherished the time she spent with her family and always placed her familyís needs above her own.'  She maintained a positive and upbeat spirit regardless of what she was experiencing with her health since first being diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2001. ' ' She always maintained her faith throughout her health challenge and never seemed to worry; knowing that she was following the plan set out for her by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.'  She was often quoted as saying, ìDonít worry about me, everything is going to be all right.î'  Bonnyís hobbies included scrapbooking, photography and she was considered a computer guru; being able to fix about anything that might go wrong with a computer. In addition to her musical talent for playing the flute, Bonny enjoyed playing the piano and singing.'  Bonny was a member of the Otter Creek Assembly of God Church in Little Rock, Arkansas where she was a member of the choir and served as a missionette. '  Bonny is survived by her husband, Scott Hogan of the home; father, Don Allen Reese of Muskogee, Oklahoma; mother and her husband, Abbie S. and John Enloe of Hominy, Oklahoma; two step-sons, Arrin Hogan of Benton, Arkansas and Ken Fletcher of Missouri; grandaughter, Zoie Hogan of Benton, Arkansas; three brothers, Rusty Dyer of Hominy, Oklahoma, Jeffrey Reese of Hominy, Oklahoma and John Enloe of Hominy, Oklahoma; neices and nephews, Aaron Hinrichs, Katie Stewart, Jessie Stewart, Fredrick Reese, Leo Reese, Abbie Reese, Shelby Enloe, John Wesley Enloe, and Lily Ellen Enloe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church in Cleveland with Pastor Dan Edens and Pastor John Tracy officiating.'  A private family committal service will be held at the Reese Family Cemetery in Muskogee at 3:00 pm under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
