Bonnie Louise Devlin passed from this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home. She was 78 years of age. Bonnie was born August 28, 1941 at Angola, Indiana to Cleo and Marcelia (Cleveland) Shoup. She was raised and received her education in Angola, graduating from Orland HS. On May 20, 1960, Bonnie was united in marriage to William Lewis Devlin in Angola. In 1970, the family moved to Independence, Kansas where she worked as a point setter for Automotive Control Corp until retirement. Bonnie loved going to garage sales in search of antiques and collectables, was an avid bowler and later took up painting; but the joy of her life were her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include her husband William of Cleveland; two daughters – Julie Ramirez and husband Teofilo of Tulsa and Lisa Hastings and husband Mark of Cleveland. Also surviving is a brother Ronald Shoup and wife Sunee of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, Aaleyah and Austenn Ramirez of Tulsa, Stephani Brisbin and husband Jake, Nicholas, Hunter and Alexi Hastings, of Cleveland;
great grandchildren Averi and Easton Brisbin and Kai Callison of Cleveland; Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James Shoup and grandson Mark Hastings, Jr.
At the family’s request, there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, you may honor her memory by donating to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Cremation has been entrusted to the Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Cleveland, Oklahoma.
