Betty Louise (Sanders) Goddard was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 3, 1930. She is the daughter of Kimball Eugene and Mayme Lorena (Ahner) Sanders. Betty attended school in Osage, Oklahoma, where she completed her education. Betty was later united in marriage to James Goddard on Oct 19, 1946, establishing their home in Osage, Oklahoma, where they resided for 11 years. Four sons are in that union: Andy, Bud, Alan, and Terry. In 1957, Betty and James moved to Enid, and Betty began working at Caton Lumber Co. and, for a short time, at Munsingwear. She spent most of her life as a housewife and mother.
Betty was the best mother anyone could ask for. Betty's hobbies were playing the piano, flower gardening, drawing pictures, painting, and putting jigsaw puzzles together. Playing games with Jim and her boys, camping on weekends, and taking vacations at different lakes were memorable.
Betty has resided at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma, since 2019. She had excellent care from all the employees at the nursing home. Betty passed away on Feb 22, 2024, at the Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma.
