Anthony Laverne Branch, 59, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018, at his home.
Tony was born November 23, 1958, in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was the son of Lemuel L. and Mary Lucy (Roney) Branch. Tony grew up in Caney, Kansas where he attended school. Following his education, Tony joined the United States Army. He was later medically discharged and returned to the Bartlesville area. Tony was later united in marriage to Sandy, and they remained in Bartlesville for many years. He drove a truck cross country until he was forced into retirement. Tony has lived in Cleveland for the past four years.
Tony loved traveling and exploring new places.
Survivors are his mother Mary Vandever of the home, sister Lois Mills of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two nephews; four nieces and other relatives and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his father and wife Sandy.
Chapman-Black Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
