Anna Marqueta Faught, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Claremore Hillcrest Hospital at the age of 84 years, three months and seven days. Marqueta was born September 17, 1930, in Indianola, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Clarence and Malta (Unknown) Caves. Marqueta later moved with her family to Osage, Oklahoma where she graduated with the Class of 1948. On August 19, 1948, Marqueta was united in marriage to the love of her life Wilburn Faught in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. After the couple was married they resided in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for a short time. Marqueta and Wilburn have also resided in Pawhuska, Vinita, Tulsa and Cleveland before moving to Claremore, Oklahoma in 1958. Marqueta was a picture perfect homemaker. She was always at home for her children when they come home from school with snacks ready for them. Marqueta would also surprise Wilburn and his co-workers with treats and lunch at the jobsites. However, most of all Marqueta made a home for her family that she loved dearly. Marqueta and Wilburn enjoyed traveling. They have taken numerous trips to Canada and to the Northwest parts of the United States as well as many other places. Marqueta enjoyed having everything perfect for Wilburn. She always had his morning coffee ready for him and always referred to him as her baby. Survivors are her husband Wilburn of the home; son James Faught and his wife Carol of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Marie Besser of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; brother Jack Caves of Collinsville, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Marqueta was preceded in death by her mother Malta Caves, father Clarence Caves, daughter Nancy Ginn and a brother Clarence "Sonny" Caves. Chapel services will be held 10:30 am Monday, December 29, 2014, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Gable officiating. Burial will follow in the Osage Cemetery in Osage, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
