Amy Justine Hamilton met her lord and savior on July 7, 2021 at the age of 34 in Cleveland, OK.
Amy graced us with her presence on December 24, 1986 in Tulsa. Amy is the daughter of Howard Hamilton and Justina (Stefanko) Turner. Amy attended school and grew up in Cleveland graduating from Cleveland High School in 2006. During high school, she was very active in soccer and cheerleading where she earned the rank of Captain. Following high school, Amy attended Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio where she was a member of the basketball cheerleading squad. She chose Ohio to continue her education because there was family close by and the school had an early childhood education program. Following her education, Amy returned to Cleveland where she has continued to reside. Amy was currently employed as an inside sales rep for DeComp Composites, but her true passion was nurturing young minds. For years, she has raised and guided the development of several of her friend’s children while raising Maddix and Colette. For most of this past decade, Amy held a full time job while also nannying Harlow and Willow and Whitlea and occasionally others. Her love for her family and friends knew no bounds. Her generosity touched lives every day and her story will remind us all to never take one day for granted.
Survived by her fiancé Jimmy Bryant, two children Maddix, and Colette of the home; parents Howard and Debi Hamilton of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Best Friend Amber Tabor of Cleveland Oklahoma; paternal grandmother Juanell Hamilton of Cleveland, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents Flora and Phil Schroeder of Defiance, Ohio; siblings Ashley Hamilton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Katie Wenzel of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Brittani Steele of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mallori Reed of Bixby, Oklahoma, Matthew Pettersen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sam Pettersen of Chicago, Illinois, Hannah Pettersen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunts Eileen Stefanko of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Teresa Thompson and her husband Tim; cousins Corey Salts, Cameron Salts, Christopher Stefanko, Erica Waugh, Mallory Jaynes, and numerous other relatives and friends.
