Alisha Durea' Brink was born February 14, 1982 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Rocky Lee Overstreet and Sheryl Denise McLean. Alisha was raised in the Blackburn area and attended school in Hominy.
Upon completion of her education, Alisha was employed as a sales clerk at Billy B's, south of Cleveland. Additionally, she was employed at the Cleveland Lounge and the Top Hat Club. Most recently, Alisha has been working as a grounds keeper at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
Alisha was married to Andrew Brink in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on April 12, 2001. The couple made their home in Blackburn and had two children, Chayce Denise Lee Brink and Dylan Franklin Brink. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cleveland. Alisha was often described as a loving, caring, compassionate and fun person. She was extremely proud of her family, especially her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, laughing and having fun, and also enjoyed fishing with them.
Alisha passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of twenty-five years, three months and twenty-one days. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Alton Lee Crenshaw and her paternal great grandparents, Gene Pop and Audrey Dean Honey Overlease.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Brink, of the home; a daughter, Chayce Denise Lee Brink, of the home; a son, Dylan Franklin Brink, of the home; father, Rocky Overlease of Blackburn, Oklahoma; mother and step-father, Sheryl and Wray McLean of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dallas McLean of Edmonton, Alberta and Landon McLean of Edmonton, Alberta; three sisters, Sasha Lee Overlease of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Jolene McLean of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Candace McLean of Edmonton, Alberta; maternal grandmother and her husband, Margaret and Jerry Christian of Greeley, Colorado; maternal grandfather, Charles and Mary Enloe; and a paternal grandmother Jean Ann Overlease Sharp.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 11, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Edens officiating, under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
