Funeral services for Patricia Louise Duff, 73, of Sand Springs will 10:30 AM Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Pastor David Head officiating. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangments.
Patricia was born August 6, 1944, near Prue, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Willie Paige and Ruby Marie (DeWitt) Horton. Pat was raised and received her education in Cleveland where she later graduated with the Class of 1962. Following graduation, Pat moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. During the time in Hobbs, Pat worked at a local coffee shop and dinner. In the early 1970’s, she moved to Green River, Wyoming. During her time there she worked as a custodian at the local elementary school. Finally, in the 1980’s, Pat returned to Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa. During that time she began working at K-Mart in Sand Springs. Pat worked her way up and was the assistant manager for many years until they closed the store. She then started working at Webco in the parts crib before accepting a position with Stage. Pat had been living at her current home for many years in Sand Springs.
Pat was a very devoted person to anyone in need of a little help. She was a very dedicated mother and daughter to her parents who she helped care for. Pat enjoyed laughing and always enjoyed listening to music. Being outdoors was also an essential part of her life. Pat always took a bad situation and turned it into a positive experience. Going to Arkansas and visiting Colorado was some favorite times in her life.
Survivors include her daughter Rosetta Duff of Cody, Wyoming, three sons Greg Lee Flowers and his wife Kathy of Fort Collins, Colorado, Russ Flowers and his wife Pam of Mannford, Oklahoma, Gaylord Reece Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister Kathryan Marie Harness of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Jerry Leon Horton of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Ruby Horton, one sister Virginia Johnson; two sons, Robbin Leon Duff and Ira Lloyd Duff and a granddaughter Skylar Marie Gilreath.
